( pizza east - the old tea building )

Pizza East is a relatively new restaurant located on the corner of Shoreditch High Street and Bethnal Green Road in the very cool east London. I remember when I first moved to London 5 years ago, going to the Tea Rooms, which was a dingy late bar/club in the ruins of the old Tea Building! Now, the interior design pays respect to the building’s industrial roots, with concrete walls and exposed beams, pipes and pillars. Fresh contemporary touches, such as leather seating and steel refectory tables, complete the look.
