( friday's palette - Autumn delight )

Your Friday colour Palette...
As most of you know by now, greens and browns are my favourite colours because, if the right hues and tones are chosen, they will look fantastic anywhere and with anything. I adore the rich hues in all of these images below! The depth of the browns and reds on the timber are reminiscent of the strong, rich Autumnal colours we are seeing here in the UK... I just love the Autumn. Please see below for your weekly colour palette based on these four lovely images :) Happy Friday, and have a wonderful weekend.

( office inspiration for home and work )

Whether you work from home or in a large office, it is important that you make your work space personal to you. We spend most of our waking lives in the office so it must make us feel happy, creative and reflect our passions. Remember... your office doesn't have to be white washed walls with a boring white shelf... make it the best place to be, not the worst; And if you work for a big firm, then tell you boss it's time for an office makeover... Use the line, "I feel that the office doesn't reflect the company brand or show what a great and exciting company we are." hehehe. That might just work to encourage your boss to create a space you will love working in. Good luck ;)
Here are a few work spaces that I adore at the moment. I hope they inspire you.

( photo art by what wilson wants )

I have been recently working on my photography which many of you already know, is another passion of mine as well and Interior Design and Furniture Design.
I just wanted to show you all some of the Photo Art I have been working on. The three images below are a series of nine which can be hung in a 3 x 3 configuration on a large wall as a great art installation for the home. Each print is 500mm x 500mm in size, but can be ordered at a smaller scale to suit any room. I am currently working on other themes, so watch this space :) I hope you like them.
You can find other photos by me over at Viewbug.

( COMPETITION: one fine stay )

Wow, what an amazing concept! 'one fine stay' gives you the chance to stay in someone's place while they are out of town. You get to live their life for a few days and nights.

The Violin Factory

I feel that visitors to London, or any city for that matter, don't always get the opportunity to feel part of the city through the hotel in which they stay. Most city hotels are very generic in style and often do not reflect the city in which they are located. By staying in a real city home, allows the visitor to feel more welcome and part of that city from day one of their visit! FANTASTIC!

COMPETITION:

The lovely guys and girls over at One Fine Stay are offering one of my lucky readers £100 off voucher, valid until the end of the year. This is a great offer to take advantage of staying in a wonderful home. You may want a place over the Christmas break or a chance to live in a luxury home and enjoy New Year in a fantastic City...
All you have to do is write a comment below telling me what home you like the most and why, from the One Fine Stay website.
I will announce the Winner at the end of this month, so be sure to leave an email address with you comment.
GOOD LUCK :)
