Something lovely for Friday...
One of my all time favourite photographers is
Steve McCurry. I have admired his work for many years, since coming across the world famous image of the 'Afghan Girl' (First Photo).
I think I must have only been about 15 years old when I first saw this photo, but remember feeling in awe of it... I was completely captivated. I have been following the work of Steve McCurry ever since, and I am still captivated by so many breathtaking images he captures. He is just brilliant at really catching people in a that unguarded moment... which makes his images so special. Below is a tiny sample of my favourite photos from Steve McCurry's portfolio.
